Nah. At 35, Bergeron is still going strong. Plays an incredible 200’ game. He’s been the gold standard for the Selke for the better part of a decade.

Coots was leading at the half way point, and for good reason, but if Bergeron gets it back, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I think it’s down to those two, but O’Reilly won it last year, so you can’t count him out.

What a player, I have a Lot of respect for that guy. Wish he was a Leaf. The guy is a winner.

Whether Bergeron win another Selke or not is irrelevant. He is a stud center. One of the best two-way players even now. His attention to his own end, back-checking and overall responsible play makes him a playoff stud even at 35. Love him as a player, even though not on my favourite team.

There aren't enough superlative to describe Patrice. Wonderful professional and a model player for all young kids. If he wins it, then 5 Selke awards might be an untouchable record for several decades.

if there was an award for the most under appreciated player in the league, Bergy would win that. He's played though broken ribs, collapsed lung, and torn stomach muscle in the playoffs. He's a warrior. He makes the players around him better. (see Krejki) I've thought for 5 years he should be captain.

Hopefully break was good for Bergy cause he was a little banged up early on.

Don't really think many people under-appreciate Patrice.

He might not even be top 5 most under-appreciated player on the Bruins.

Tuukka. Arguably the best goaltender of the past 10 years. Is never viewed as such.

Marchand didn't even make the all star team this year and he was around 5th in scoring in the league.

Chara. I think he is starting to gain it back but for a while after the cup loss to chicago. A lot of fans crushed Chara.

Krejci. Real Question. Would you retire his number with the Bruins?
